ADULT CLASSES
The Adult Program offers exceptional instruction from professional teachers and leaders in their field, live musical accompaniment and state-of-the-art facilities. The program tailors the curriculum according to the level and desire of each person attending. Whether you have dance training or are an absolute beginner, there will be something in the program for you to choose from. Adult classes are open to individuals 16 and up. The classes are interactive and they are a great way to stay in shape. We look forward to seeing you in class!
1st Session: September 26th 2011 – November 26th 2011
2nd Session: January 23rd 2012 – March 31st 2012 (NO CLASSES MARCH 12-17)
3rd Session: April 2nd – June 2nd
Adult Ballet
Adult Ballet introduces the fundamentals of basic ballet and follows the same principles of training and course development as any other ballet class in the Umbrella Dance Program. An appreciation for music is also cultivated as classical pianists accompany all our ballet classes.
Adult Tap
The tap classes are geared towards learning to use your body as an instrument designed to develop basic coordination and rhythms. As you advance through the program, you gain skill, sound quality and clarity.
